1. Overview
This policy explains what information TransOpSync collects when you apply for the founding pilot, create an account, or use the TransOpSync platform, and how that information is used and protected. TransOpSync is currently in a founding-pilot phase, offered to a limited number of companies.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to operate the platform:
- Pilot applications: company name, contact name, work email, phone number, business type, number of drivers, and a description of your operational challenges, submitted through the pilot application form.
- Account information: your email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text), and full name.
- Company information: company name, industry, country, and fleet/driver counts provided during onboarding.
- Team information: email addresses and roles of teammates you invite, and a record of membership changes for security and accountability.
- Driver and vehicle records: the driver and vehicle details your company chooses to enter (such as name, contact details, license number, or vehicle plate and specifications) to manage your own fleet within the platform. This data belongs to your company; we process it on your behalf.
- Technical information: basic error and performance data captured automatically when something goes wrong, so we can fix it (see “Third-party service providers” below).
3. How we use information
- To evaluate and respond to founding-pilot applications.
- To create and secure your account and company workspace.
- To operate the features you use: team management, driver records, and vehicle records.
- To send account, security, and invitation emails.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse or security incidents.
- To communicate with you about the pilot program and product updates, where you have agreed to be contacted.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and your session secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Third-party service providers
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to operate the platform, each processing data only as needed to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting.
- Resend — delivery of account and invitation emails.
- Sentry — error monitoring, to help us find and fix bugs.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account or your company’s workspace is active, or as needed to operate the pilot program. If you would like your data deleted, contact us (see below) and we will act on that request, subject to any records we are required to keep for legitimate business or legal reasons.
7. Data security
Access to company data is restricted by row-level security in our database, so one company’s data is never visible to another. Access within your company is governed by the roles and permissions your admins assign. All traffic to the platform is encrypted in transit.
8. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Company admins can update most account and team information directly within the dashboard.
9. Children's privacy
TransOpSync is a business tool and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.
10. Changes to this policy
As TransOpSync moves from founding pilot to general availability, this policy may be updated. We will update the date at the top of this page when that happens.
